D&L Landscaping & Concrete is looking for an experienced Field Operations Supervisor to take a key leadership role within our growing company.

This position is responsible for organizing crews, coordinating jobs and equipment, maintaining quality and productivity, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Winter operations include commercial snow clearing, ice control and hauling, while summer work includes asphalt, concrete and related site work.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct field crews

• Coordinate employees, equipment and job requirements

• Supervise multiple jobs and monitor progress

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings

• Ensure company safety procedures and PPE requirements are followed

• Train, coach and provide direction to employees

• Inspect completed work for quality

• Coordinate winter snow operations and crew deployment

• Supervise asphalt, concrete and site-work projects during the summer

• Maintain communication with management, employees and customers

• Assist with D&L's ongoing COR certification and safety program

Requirements

• Previous supervisory or foreman experience in construction, paving, snow removal, heavy equipment or a related field

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Ability to manage crews and make decisions in the field

• Commercial snow-clearing experience is strongly preferred

• Asphalt and/or concrete experience is considered a strong asset

• Safety program or COR experience is an asset

• Valid driver's license

• Availability for evenings, overnight work and weekends during winter weather events

Seasonal Position

D&L Landscaping & Concrete is hiring Class 3 Truck Operators for winter snow-hauling and commercial snow-removal operations.

This position involves operating tandem and dump trucks to transport snow and materials between commercial properties and designated disposal locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate tandem and dump trucks safely

• Haul snow from commercial properties

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Follow assigned routes and supervisor instructions

• Maintain communication with loaders and field supervisors

• Complete required driver and equipment documentation

• Assist with other winter operations when required

Requirements

• Valid Manitoba Class 3 driver's license

• Required air-brake endorsement for assigned equipment

• Previous tandem, dump truck or commercial driving experience

• Clean and safe driving habits

• Snow-hauling experience is considered an asset

• Ability to operate manual transmission is an asset

• Available for evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and holidays during snow events

• Dependable and able to report for weather-dependent shifts

Summer Opportunity: This position may continue into the summer season with hauling and support work for D&L's asphalt, concrete and site-work operations.

Seasonal | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

D&L Landscaping & Concrete is hiring multiple Snow Removal Crew Members for the upcoming winter season.

This position involves clearing commercial sidewalks, entrances and walkways throughout Winnipeg using shovels, snow blowers and other small snow-removal equipment.

Previous experience is an asset but not required. We are looking for dependable people who are comfortable working outdoors and understand that snow-clearing schedules are determined by the weather.

Responsibilities

• Clear sidewalks, entrances and walkways

• Operate snow blowers and small snow-removal equipment

• Apply ice-control products as directed

• Complete assigned properties as part of a crew

• Follow supervisor instructions and company safety procedures

• Assist with loading and maintaining equipment

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable performing physical outdoor work

• Able to work in Manitoba winter conditions

• Available for early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends when required

• Able to report for work on relatively short notice during snow events

• Reliable transportation to our shop in the Sunnyside / Transcona area

• Previous snow removal, landscaping, construction or labour experience is an asset

D&L Landscaping & Concrete is looking for experienced Loader Operators for our commercial snow-clearing operations throughout Winnipeg.

Operators will be responsible for clearing commercial parking lots and properties using wheel loaders during snow events.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders for commercial snow clearing

• Push, pile and relocate snow as directed

• Complete assigned properties efficiently and thoroughly

• Perform basic pre-trip and equipment inspections

• Communicate with supervisors throughout snow events

• Work safely around vehicles, pedestrians and other equipment

• Report equipment concerns or site issues promptly

Requirements

• Previous loader or heavy-equipment operating experience required

• Snow-clearing experience strongly preferred

• Ability to work independently and follow assigned routes

• Comfortable working overnight and during changing winter conditions

• Available for evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and holidays when snowfall requires it

• Valid driver's licence

• Reliable transportation to our shop

• Strong attention to property damage prevention and safe equipment operation

Operators will work at commercial properties throughout Winnipeg clearing parking areas, loading snow and completing detailed snow removal in areas where larger equipment cannot operate effectively.

• Operate skid steers for commercial snow clearing

• Clear parking areas, entrances and confined spaces

• Push, pile and load snow as directed

• Perform basic equipment inspections

• Work alongside loaders, trucks and ground crews

• Follow assigned routes and site instructions

• Maintain safe operating distances around buildings, vehicles and pedestrians

Requirements

• Previous skid steer operating experience required

• Snow-removal experience strongly preferred

• Ability to operate equipment safely in confined commercial areas

• Good judgement and attention to property damage prevention

• Available for early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends when required

• Valid driver's licence preferred
